Spring Creek Watershed Field Day

LSRWA and partners Green County Land and Water Conservation Department, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will spend the morning leading an exploration of a reach of Spring Creek at its confluence with Oakley Branch, in one of the western tributary basins in the Lower Sugar River Watershed. We will sample and identify fish and aquatic insects, and talk about other indicators that are used to measure and assess overall stream health.  Dress for the field with sun and insect protection, and a water bottle.  Safety vests will be provided.
